Близнецы Фрэнсис Эдгар [Francis Edgar] (1849-1918) и Фрилан [Freelan] (1849-1940). В начале 1880-х Фрилан считался одним из лучших фотографов-портретистов Новой Англии. В 1883 братья изобрели фотопластинку, которая за несколько лет завоевала рынки Америки и Европы. В 1905 продали производство пластинок фирме "Кодак" [ Eastman Kodak Co.].
